The men and women who leave behind family and friends; the comforts of home and put themselves in the line of danger so those they love can live in comfort, peace . . . those who risk their lives keeping the wars off our shores, out our cities . . . those who give and have very little to nothing to come home to.
I speak out for the used up, tired worn out discarded veterans; those who scream out in the night haunted by ghost and demons that are buried deep within their minds. A place and time they can’t forget, they can't talk about . . . and no one understands them and not to many really care . . .
